The competitiveness cluster of the technical and functional textile industry in Rhône-Alpes

One of the main missions of Techtera is to promote its sector on a global scale. This is why Techtera takes part in many major professional fairs and events.

Techtera also regularly welcomes foreign researchers and business delegations showing interest in textile innovation in Rhône-Alpes. Moreover, and as a completion to its international development plan, the cluster is establishing several inter-cluster partnerships, which lead to :

• In Tunisia, Techtera is a partner of Mfc pôle, its Tunisian counterpart, composed of the Monastir textile techno-pole and the industrial park of Monastir and El Fejja.
• In Japan, Techtera initiated contacts and started a collaboration with the Japan Chemical Fibers Association) and Shinshu University (specialised in textile), in order to develop partnerships.
• In Israel, the cluster identified university competences and transferable technologies.
