Techtera's “projects portfolio” currently includes 103 innovative programmes : The most recent projects (2010, 2009 and 2008) :COMPHOSOL, for the development of innovative products for architectural fabric structures. The aim of the project is to deposit a thin layer on the surface of non-rigid, organic materials (textile and paper) providing photocatalytic properties for indoor and outdoor enduses. In addition to the reduction in pollutants and maintenance and its ecofriendly interest, COMPHOSOL will also lead to the use of SOL-GEL processes in traditional sectors. 8 partners. Budget: 3M€. Funding: DGCIS and french local authorities. Launching: 2010
DOSELESS, for the development of textile materials increasing the protection against ionizing radiation. Applications: health & nuclear industries. 9 partners (3 SMEs, 2 groups, 4 laboratories). Funding: 1 M€. French government & local autorities. Launching: 2010.
TIPCO: towards innovative composites for the building industry. The project aims at developing new types of textile reinforced composites with a mineral matrix and an industrial mass production process leading to applications for building and civil enginnering sectors, with improvements in terms of strength and fire resistance. 7 partners. Budget: 4,8M€. Funding: french national DGCIS and local authorities. Launching: 2010.
PACID, for the development of innovative solutions using the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology so as to improve the textile product management and traceability. Potential applications in the hotel business and the health sector. This project is supported in association with the competitiveness cluster SCS. 8 partners. Budget : 2,7 million €. Funding: french national and local authorities. Launching: 2009.
IDTCo (Innovative Dry Thermoset Composites): is a project that aims at developing new heat-hardening resin-based powder formulations. Funded by the FEDER, its objective is to provide the composite materials industry with new pre-preg solutions and processes meeting with sustainable development requirements. Heat-hardening composite materials hold 70% of the European market. Three partners are involved. More projects (2007, 2006) :ACTIPROTEX : concerning the development of multi-active protective textile materials intended to prevent hospital-acquired and microbial infections. Anticipated applications: external and internal medical devices, professional clothing, lingerie. 18 partners involved. Funding: €2.1 million from the DGE and French local authorities. |
