Setting up partnership projects PDF Print
Since 2005, the cluster's network-based activities, along with its dynamism, have grown markedly: 7 projects supported in 2006, 32 in 2007, 40 in 2008, 35 in 2009.

To initiate ideas, to build them, to research into other proposals for innovation, to define work perspectives, to bring results, to formalise a project and to implement it within a collaborative framework can be seen as an easy task.
In fact, every step is vital for the innovative process as a whole.

PROJECT + PARTNERS + FOLLOW-UP + LABEL + FUNDING = INNOVATION

In order to guarantee the good result of this input, Techtera has produced a methodology and designed tools for accompanying collaborative R&D projects.
It includes 10 formal steps:
  • Idea
  • Intention
  • Formalisation
  • Technical advisement, given by the Technical and Scientific Commission (CST) of Techtera
  • Label approval or refusal, granted by the Executive Bureau
  • Proposal or application for funding
  • Funding/refusal for funding/consultancy for project rebuilding
  • Consortium agreement
  • Launching, then follow-up
  • Finalizing

From the early stages of an R&D project to the development of an innovative product or industrial process, every step is guided and supervised by the cluster's staff, in strict confidentiality and for the benefit of businesses, research laboratories, and training centres involved in projects:
  • More results
  • Shared costs (time, budget), meaning lesser costs
  • More competitiveness

The collaborative project process induced by Techtera explains by itself the good results of the cluster.
