Since 2005, the cluster's network-based activities, along with its dynamism, have grown markedly: 7 projects supported in 2006, 32 in 2007, 40 in 2008, 35 in 2009.  To initiate ideas, to build them, to research into other proposals for innovation, to define work perspectives, to bring results, to formalise a project and to implement it within a collaborative framework can be seen as an easy task. In fact, every step is vital for the innovative process as a whole. PROJECT + PARTNERS + FOLLOW-UP + LABEL + FUNDING = INNOVATION In order to guarantee the good result of this input, Techtera has produced a methodology and designed tools for accompanying collaborative R&D projects. Techtera raises strategic questions addressing major technical and economical issues of the technical textile industry. The cluster assists collaborative research proposals resulting from this questioning process, up to trial phase and products prototyping.
