Now, at the start of phase IV of the innovation clusters and the establishment of a new roadmap, it is time for Techtera to look in the rear-view mirror to make an inventory of the road travelled.
First observation: a wider field of action and international recognition. The backing provided by Techtera to companies in their export drives has increased, with support at international markets and trade shows.
European partnership projects have not been forgotten: in 5 years, no less than 59 applications were submitted, of which fourteen have been funded, and five are being examined.
With a strengthened and recognised competence in research work, joint projects and international missions, as well as increased involvement in organising the textile sector in relation to its markets, the cluster is now positioned as a European innovation cluster at the heart of textile transformation.
