Renowned for its expertise in covered metallic and metalloplastic threads, Blanchard combines tradition and innovation to serve a wide range of sectors: from traditional textiles (lace, embroidery, ribbons, weaving, trimmings) to applications incorporating technical threads (heating, photoluminescent, etc). Blanchard also has rolling equipment, for flattening metallic strands — an often-essential step prior to the manufacture of technical threads.
Blanchard is thus able to manufacture various types of threads: standard round, flat, twisted, cabled, novelty, and fine threads, meeting the requirements of the luxury sector; as well as highly sophisticated threads intended for various technical applications.
The enterprise creates custom-designed solutions, resulting in a wide range of threads — some of which are certified GRS (Global Recycled Standard). Co-design with its partner clients is at the heart of its approach: a preferred method of operation to precisely meet specific needs.
In tune with current market needs, Blanchard now develops electrical and thermal conductive threads. Few European organisations have such skill concerning conductivity applied to metallic threads.
