REGIOTEX is a European initiative headed by EURATEX to involve local authorities in the modernisation of the textile industry. Presented by TECHTERA, this initiative has received a favourable reception from the AUVERGNE-RHÔNE-ALPES REGION, which has confirmed its involvement as an active member.
The aim of this initiative is to promote the use of funds for the regions as part of intelligent specialisation programmes to finance action to modernise the local textile production tool.
The regions of Northeast (Portugal), Lombardy & Piedmont (Italy), West Flanders (Belgium), Hradec-Kralove (Czech Republic), Valencia and Catalonia (Spain) are also involved in this programme.
