The new infrastructure allows R&D trials to be conducted on a semi-industrial scale, thus providing greater flexibility in the development of 100% recyclable bio-based filaments and fibres.
Thanks to this installation, NOOSA® is expanding its scope of exploration into the properties of PLA (Polylactic acid) filaments, particularly by optimising their mechanical performance and testing new applications. The aim is to adapt the proposed solutions to specific customer requirements, while strengthening the company’s commitment to more sustainable textiles.
This pilot line also accelerates the market launch of new products; by testing different spinning conditions and validating key parameters before large-scale production. With this technological advance, NOOSA® is expanding its proposals to meet the growing market demand for bio-sourced and recyclable fibres and filaments.
The first tests have already begun.
