CHOMARAT has received state support for its the recovery plan and the launch of its “Convert” project. This expert as regards technical textiles thus aims to position itself, in the long term, as a leading supplier of high-performance reinforcements for the automotive market.
The “CONVERT” project, certified by the Techtera and CARA innovation clusters, consists of transforming and modernising an existing multiaxial glass machine into a production line dedicated to a range of unidirectional carbon reinforcements. To achieve this goal, new equipment must be added and the machine environment adapted.
The project, which requires an investment of €2 million over three years, is a winner in the call for projects to modernise the automotive sector.
