The UIT, Techtera and Pôle Textile Alsace organise a collective mission to Switzerland on 13–14 October 2026, designed to give French textile companies the opportunity to discover one of the world’s leading ecosystems for technical textiles, advanced materials and smart textiles.
This mission offers a concrete opportunity to:
- Identify new technology and industrial partners,
- Discover innovations that can be applied to your business,
- Foster collaborative projects, particularly at the European level.
Programme
- Visits to leading research laboratories and innovation centres: EPFL and EMPA, internationally recognised for their expertise in smart textiles, advanced materials, sustainable fibres, composites and innovative manufacturing processes.
- Meetings with Swiss researchers, start-ups and industrial companies focusing on technical textiles, recycling, functionalisation technologies and alternatives to PFAS.
- Networking sessions with Swiss Textiles and innovative companies to identify opportunities for technological, industrial and European collaborations.
