Smart textiles result from the marriage between electronics and textiles. This booming business sector is based on the production of services/products using textile sensors, actuators, conductors. This means: being able to generate, store or transmit energy and data.
But what about the environmental impact of these innovations?
This European day of conferences aims at addressing this question and suggesting development ideas based on eco-design and the circular economy; in general, with a view to designing, developing and producing tomorrow’s smart textiles – with their impact under control and as low as possible.
This event, organised by Techtera, will be part of the CONTEXT network.
