The AXELERA and POLYMERIS competitiveness clusters, in collaboration with the TECHTERA and Team 2 competitiveness clusters, the Strategic Committees for Waste Processing and Recovery and Chemistry and Materials, the PEPR recycling program, and the professional organizations elanova and Polyvia, are organizing the 30th edition of the “Recycling and Innovation Forum” on October 24, 2022, at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. Team 2, the Strategic Committees for Waste Transformation and Recovery, and Chemistry and Materials, the PEPR recycling program, and the professional organizations elanova and Polyvia, are organizing the third National Polymer Recycling Conference on June 30 and July 1, 2026, in Clermont-Ferrand.
This event, which aims to be THE meeting place for this year’s theme, will have the following objectives:
- Present regulatory developments related to polymer waste management and its reincorporation into new products, at the national and European levels.
- Showcase the structural initiatives undertaken at the national level.
- Share the vision of decision-makers
- Highlight innovative polymer recycling projects and players
- Take stock of the circularity of plastics, textiles, and elastomers through the 5R principles (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Return to Earth)
This event is aimed at all types of stakeholders (start-ups, SMEs, mid-cap companies, groups, academic laboratories, universities, technical centers, institutions): organizations responsible for waste collection and sorting, waste preparers, developers of polymer recycling solutions, equipment manufacturers, chemists, and recyclers of recycled materials, etc.
This event will be organized into several highlights:
- Presentations in plenary sessions to provide information
- Networking events to encourage participants to meet and exchange ideas
- Exhibition areas (stands) to showcase technologies and/or companies
