At the Mountain Planet international trade show, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in partnership with Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises and 14 competitiveness clusters, business and financial groups, including Techtera, unveiled a unique booklet dedicated to innovative and sustainable solutions from companies preparing for the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Entitled “Laboratory of Innovations and Solutions for Major International Sporting Events – 2030”, this document is a practical tool for key decision-makers involved in the Games (COJOP Alpes 2030 and SOLIDEO Alpes 2030), as well as host communities, major national groups, and companies seeking to position themselves in markets related to this large-scale event.
Resulting from a joint effort, this booklet brings together 280 companies, including 41 textile firms!
It highlights more than 370 solutions structured around 9 strategic themes, including Materials and Textiles for the organization of major international sporting events.
Through this booklet, the Region and its partners affirm a strong ambition: to highlight the excellence and innovative capacity of local businesses, foster economic cooperation, and really contribute to the success of the Games in sporting, financial, environmental, and social terms.
Beyond this first edition, this initiative is part of a long-term strategy to support everyone in the textile industry until 2030 and beyond, making the Games a true catalyst for transformation and influence for the region.
