On October 22, 2019, Elkem Silicones launched the construction of a new R&D centre located in Saint-Fons, in Lyon. Entirely dedicated to innovation, this 6000 m² site, including 2500 m² of laboratories, will be operational as from November 2020. The 130 international researchers, who will work there, will have the job of developing the silicone of tomorrow.
