At Tissages de Charlieu, the looms weave fabrics from post-consumer waste fibres

16 . 10 . 2026

At TLC, 77% of the looms now use yarn containing post-consumer waste: jeans, t-shirts, trousers, sweaters of all colours. A year ago, the average was only 20%.

The clothes placed in the collection terminals are: sorted by Synergies TLC; prepared by Nouvelles Fibres Textiles; frayed by Buisson Recyclage; then rewoven at Tissages de Charlieu to become essential products again.

The incorporation of post-consumer recycled material proves to be compatible with an industrial pace. Also, the entire process takes place within 1000 km.
