Barrisol® received the label “Innovation Chosen by the Construction Industry Professionals” for Biowood®, its very low-carbon solution. This label, awarded by building professionals, highlights major innovations and new developments in the sector. The Biowood® solution, designed to combine low environmental impact with high performance, is 100% recyclable and composed of up to 92% natural ingredients. It incorporates a plant-based plasticiser and wood to replace petroleum, thus reducing its carbon footprint. Its A+, Greenguard Gold, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 CQ 1341/1 IFTH certifications, as well as its fire rating, all guarantee quality and safety.
This dynamism is demonstrated in France and internationally with projects around the world such as the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Kuwait Airport, and the Ferrari Museum. In 2025, Barrisol® will also represent France as a partner in the French Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka.
