FIREX: accelerate the development of the French textile circular economy

Launch of FIREX Project

The FIREX project brings together five French partners, all members of Techtera: le Centre européen des textiles Innovants (CETI), les Tissages de Charlieu (LTC), MAPEA, TDV Industries et Synergies TLC.

Objectives of FIREX Project

The aim is to set up an industrial sector for the recycling of end-of-life textiles. FIREX is supported by the Government and has been labelled by the Techtera and Polymeris innovation clusters.

FIREX will require three years of applied and transfer research. Fourteen million euros will be invested to equip the industrial production lines.
