With a budget of €54 billion, the France 2030 programme, lasting 5 years, began in 2021 in order to make up for France’s industrial gap and invest massively in innovative technologies while supporting the ecological transition.
Over the last two years, textile manufacturers have benefited from this aid thanks to numerous calls for regional and national projects.
Techtera members have submitted 32 projects as part of the France 2030 call for projects; with a total budget of nearly €110 million including funding of more than €40 million. Among these 32 projects, twelve projects, with a total budget of €35.8 million, were financed for the sum of €19.9 million; and six are currently under review.
Examples of funded projects include the ALL COAT and ABC42 projects.
ALL COAT aims to develop a “high performance” flame-retardant flexible composite membrane providing durability and reducing the socio-environmental and health impact. ABC4I consists of developing innovative digital solutions based on AI and automation for real-time production control.
These calls for projects represent an excellent financing opportunity for the textile sector. Furthermore, the themes covered, such as ecological transition, advanced materials and digitalisation, are perfectly in line with the current challenges in the textile sector.
