RAUCH, a specialist in textile finishing, opened a new metrology laboratory at the end of 2024, to improve the control of its products and support its development.
This laboratory has equipment such as the Martindale (evaluation of abrasion resistance); the Bally flexometer (test of folding resistance); a dynamometric test bench; and the Scrubb Test (measurement of crease resistance). These tests give a more precise characterisation of the properties of the fabrics and an optimal response to the technical specifications of the clients.
Not only quality control, this laboratory also constitutes a strategic tool to support the development of RAUCH towards more technical and challenging markets. This investment reflects the commitment of the enterprise regarding innovation. It also strengthens its position concerning high-end solutions.
