SAO Textile has just received the “GreenTech Innovation” certification from the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
This national recognition distinguishes the most promising solutions for environmental transition.
It recognises the SAO pioneering approach, which locally transforms used fishing nets into recycled textile fibres, without the addition of virgin materials. It uses a patented, 100% French process.
In this spirit, SAO Textile will participate in several autumnal events, including Biomim’expo Marseille (October 2025) and the Who’s Next trade show in Paris.
This is an opportunity to share a concrete and committed vision of circular textile reindustrialisation, at the regional level; in line with maritime, climate, and social issues.
SAO thus aims to demonstrate that groundbreaking innovation can arise from ecological constraints and pave the way for more sustainable, traceable, and resilient textiles.
