As part of a partnership with the “Compagnie du Mont-Blanc”, Samaya equips the workers at the “Aiguille du Midi” in Chamonix. These people have to operate at very high altitude in extreme conditions.
Exceptionally, on the “Aiguille” Samaya was able to carry out tests on equipment dedicated to defence. These tests are part of the rigorous process of research and development concerning Samaya products. The tests also gave a boost to its strategy of relocating know-how into France.
On its premises, Samaya is equipped with a laboratory for carrying out the very first tests on materials and its products. This laboratory includes test benches, a cold room and a wind tunnel. The next step includes tests under real conditions in the field. With its altitude, wind and cold, the “Aiguille du Midi” is an ideal environment for testing Samaya equipment and carrying out scientific surveys.
