Since their creation in 2005 under the stimulus of the government, innovation clusters have given new impetus to modernisation in France. Designed to strengthen competitiveness and stimulate economic development, they have fostered a collective approach, bringing together industrial players, researchers and institutions from all the regions.
By creating a fertile ecosystem for innovation, this model has accelerated strategic connections; facilitated access to finance; and given rise to projects of regional, national, and European scope.
As an innovation cluster dedicated to the textile industry, Techtera upholds this commitment every day. Innovation has been at the heart of its mission for 20 years, with more than 318 joint R&D projects supported and funded, representing a total budget of nearly €759.5 million.
This anniversary is an opportunity to reaffirm Techtera’s commitment: to building, alongside its members and partners, an ever more efficient, sustainable, digitalised, and innovative textile industry.
