The year 2025 was a particularly significant one for Techtera, marking the 20th anniversary of the competitiveness clusters.
This anniversary was celebrated with a special event; as well as numerous initiatives to showcase our members, highlighting their expertise, successes, and contribution to the collective dynamic. In this context, ten open house days, bringing together a total of 112 participants, were organised by and for Techtera members; fostering exchanges, the sharing of experiences, and the discovery of skills within the network.
With over 280 members, Techtera confirms in 2025 its role as a unifying force and accelerator for industrial, technological, and academic stakeholders. Nearly twenty projects supported by Techtera received funding for a total budget of over €37 million, concretely illustrating our commitment to transforming ideas into structuring, value-creating projects.
The network’s mobilisation was also reflected in strong participation in our joint initiatives. Fifteen competitiveness workshops, bringing together more than 860 participants, and nine innovation workshops, with over 240 participants, addressed key performance, transition, and innovation challenges. Our three thematic clubs, totalling 180 participants throughout the year, provided valuable spaces for strategic thinking and skills development.
Techtera also strengthened its members’ international outreach, with two international missions, to the DITF in Germany and Flanders, bringing together 41 participants. These missions fostered partnerships, technology monitoring, and opportunities for European cooperation.
Finally, the cluster supported its members at three major trade shows including JEC World (Composites), A+A (PPE, Safety and Defence), Pollutec (Environment), and organised or partnered in twelve technology days. All this, actively contributed to the sector’s visibility and the dissemination of textile innovations.
These achievements demonstrate the vitality of our network and our ambition: to provide long-term support to businesses and promote an innovative, competitive, and future-oriented textile sector.
