In 2023, the first edition of OPTITEX demonstrated the promising potential of this unique incubator dedicated to collaborative and cross-sector innovation. Two promising prototypes were funded: a UV dressing to prevent and treat infection on wounds; an insect bait via a smart and luminous textile.
Building on these successes illustrating the impact of combined intelligence, in 2025, TECHTERA is launching the second edition of OPTITEX, with three complementary partners to continue extending the use of textiles: ACSIEL, MEDICALPS and MINALOGIC.
This initiative responds to a double challenge: Support the priority needs of advanced medicine, expressed by AID; and combine the expertise of four strategic sectors – Textiles and flexible materials; Digital; Electronics; Health technologies.
