Founded in 1929, BERTHEAS & CIE specialises in the manufacture of stretch and technical fabrics for a wide range of sectors: Medical and orthopaedic; Underwear; Sports and technical lingerie; Swimwear; Homewear; Safety and security; Accessories, etc.
The company relies on an experienced team of over 60 people and modern manufacturing facilities: 120 Jacquard looms; All types of warping; Lots of dyeing and finishing procedures, etc.
Recently, BERTHEAS & CIE launched two new products that offer a wide range of uses for its clients:
- MICRO-GRIPP UF®: an ultra-thin, highly flexible, and highly durable elastic fabric, which can be “clean-cut” and/or welded.
- STRETCH > CTRL < ®: an elastic fabric that provides comfort and support, both at rest and during movement, through an anti-rebound cushioning effect.
Its products are systematically inspected throughout their manufacturing process. They benefit from OEKO-TEX certification. BERTHEAS & CIE exports 40% of its production.
