Created in 1937, Dutel is one of the leaders as regards Jacquard weaving. Every year, two thousand designs are created at its head office, located in Rillieux-la-Pape (Rhône).
These are then woven in Panissières (Loire); then delivered throughout France or exported to more than seventy countries around the world. Thanks to its collections of Jacquard fabrics for waistcoats and suits, Dutel has become the European leader in the “men’s formal wear” market. The company is also a major player in “image and uniform clothing”.
Dutel masters the entire fabric manufacturing chain, from weaving to finishing. The Dutel creation department designs two collections of drawings per year. Lightweight fabrics, such as textiles for sleeved garments, are included in the collections of women’s ready-to-wear brands in many countries.
