This technology enables, among other things, the short-range reading and writing of the tag that tracks a device, allowing the storage of tracking information concerning the object tracked; thus, avoiding the need to access the entire database of objects during basic processing.
The market initially addressed by ID3S® is closed-cycle RFID in LF (125kHz), HF (13.56MHz) and UHF (EU & US frequencies). The company also develops Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC communication systems.
Coming from the world of microcircuit cards and electronic payments, ID3S designs, integrates and programmes: tags, readers, hubs, servers, as well as sensors and IoT devices.
ID3S is both a design office and a Fabless manufacturer that, thanks to its local, national, and international network, is capable of pure integration or specific design integration.
The author of several US, EU and FR patents (smart cards, RFID and IoT), ID3S recently exhibited, at CES Las Vegas 2025, one of its ultra-low power UHF IoT creations, based on OPV and e-paper.
