The Laboratory of Textile Physics and Mechanics (LPMT) is one of the two French academic laboratories working on the Science of Fibres. It specialises in the development and characterisation of materials and processes for the fabrication of fibrous structures, from nanometric to macroscopic scale. At each level, mono-, bi- and three-dimensional structures are studied. Each of them may receive surface treatment or bulk treatment.
