RAUCH is a historic textile company in the town of Tarare. It was founded in 1852 and specialises in supplying refined textiles.
RAUCH currently has two main businesses:
Its own business: The company defines and orders the weaving of fabrics, which are then prepared by RAUCH and delivered to the medical sector (gauze for dressings), food (tea bags, ham bags), construction (heat-insulating sheath) and top-of-the-range clothing (pattern canvas, lining, interlining, etc).
Custom-work business: Clients in the leather goods, furniture and technical textile sectors entrust their requirements to RAUCH. Based on specifications, RAUCH develops unique and dedicated processes to meet client needs (abrasion resistance, stain resistance, anti-fraying, waterproofing).
The company has GOTS and OekoTex certification for part of its business. It has embarked on an environmental transition procedure. It works daily on new developments, cleaner formulations, and process improvements in order to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow concerning water, energy, etc.
