Founded in 2025, Smart Eco Systems is a startup specialising in the development of intelligent materials and systems, particularly for thermal storage.
The company relies on a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers from the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research), academia, and the private sector, enabling it to combine scientific and industrial strategies.
Its mission: to design and develop innovative solutions in France, focusing on:
- Intelligent materials and systems
- Engineering geared towards a sustainable future
- Integrated and optimized heat flow management.
Its proposal is organised around two complementary strategies:
Smart Eco Systems develops a wide range of functionalised materials: masterbatches (pristine and composite), as well as various forms (powders, granules, flakes, wafers, thermoregulators). The company distinguishes itself through the development of innovative composites derived from “waste-to-waste” loops.
The startup also designs dedicated intelligent systems:
- For low-temperature heat recovery (10 to 90°C)
- For thermoregulation, particularly for the cold chain (down to -15°C)
Smart Eco Systems benefits from strong capabilites concerning research, innovation and industrial ecosystems. Its technological know-how and its ability to develop disruptive solutions have already led to patent filings and initial applications with industrial partners.
