Towards a more circular and resilient textile industry with the new ReBORN club

22 . 05 . 2025

In line with its strategic roadmap, which makes the sustainable and circular economy one of its priorities, Techtera organised a “synthesis of ideas” workshop entitled “Let’s build together the key actions needed for a competitive and more sustainable textile industry”. The aim was to jointly identify the main challenges that remain surrounding the integration of the circular economy into the textile industry. Several recurring issues were highlighted during the discussions.

Presentation of the new Club: ReBORN

ReBORN, is :

  • RE for Recycle, Reuse, Reinvent
  • BORN for Reborn, through new materials, innovative uses, and new, more sustainable models

This name conveys the idea of an ambition: to create a new, more virtuous, collaborative, and resilient cycle.

The club will include::

  • Thematic technical days to share the latest knowledge on a specific topic and work together on solutions to the problems encountered. Depending on interest, these discussions may be extended by the creation of online workgroups.
  • Site visits allowing members to discover concrete examples of the circular economy.
  • A centre (platform) for exchange and sharing between club members, allowing you to access shared documents and presentations, and to benefit from a dedicated space to express your needs and research topics.
