Monaco Fire and Emergency Service, in partnership with SULITEC, have designed a security box for electric vehicles

A treatment unit for alternative energy vehicles was installed last May at the Fontvieille Rescue Centre.

Developed by the Monaco Fire and Emergency Service in partnership with the SULITEC Group, this box, designed on the basis of a maritime container, responds to the operational concept, which can be summed up as: “Isolate – Check – Treat”.

This box, unique in the world, instrumented and intelligent, is insulated to withstand temperatures going up to 1,100°C.

Its commissioning meets the need to bear in mind the risks associated with the development of alternative energy vehicles in the Principality, which represent 12% of the vehicle fleet registered to date. It will contribute to maintaining a high level of security while promoting the energy transition.
