TECHTERA’s 20th Anniversary: A Key Milestone Celebrated with the Textile Industry

On July 17, ROOFTOP 52 vibrated to the rhythm of the textile industry; to celebrate two decades of collaboration, innovation, and collective commitment; bringing together nearly 110 participants.

A big thank you to everyone for being there for this great moment, marking the history of the TECHTERA innovation cluster!

An emotional lookback in time

The event began with a sequence rich in memories, led by three emblematic TECHTERA figures.

  • Jean-Charles Potelle (BOLDODUC GROUPE, former President of Techtera)
  • Louis Vovelle (BGV4u Solutions, former President of Techtera)
  • Philippe Sanial (CHOMARAT Group, President of Techtera)

Their testimonies retraced with sincerity and passion the cluster’s evolution, its founding values, and the major milestones achieved over the years.

Innovation at the heart of TECHTERA’s DNA

A series of dynamic illustrations then highlighted emblematic projects supported by TECHTERA.

A big “Thank You” to the speakers for their energy and vision:

  • Jacques Porcheret – DS+M Porcheret (first structuring projects supported by Techtera)
  • Patrick Massebeuf – Massebeuf Textiles (Silicotex project and many others)
  • Jacques Tankéré – TEXINOV (AgroBoost Project)
  • Miki Kadomoto – JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization – French-Japanese cooperation)
  • Sophie Jacquemot – STEVTISS (Support for internationalization with the Techtextil trade fair)
  • Marine Perraud – Recyc’Elit (Collaborative projects including Aurarefil, RegioGreenTex, and Solstice)
  • Laurent Leport – Bertheas & Cie (Export mission – EU-Alliance in Japan)
  • François Lux – Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (Textile traceability)
  • Alexis Gigleux – Fotia DMT (Automation and AI for quality control)

Their presentations brilliantly illustrated the vitality, creativity and potential of our innovative textile ecosystem.

The screening of a film dedicated to the RegioGreenTex project, featuring testimonials from Rovitex and Recyc’Elit, also highlighted the collective commitment to a more sustainable sector.

Looking to the future

Between assessments, perspectives and shared ambition, this evening highlighted a united and forward-looking community. Responsible innovation, ecological transition and international influence will be more than ever at the heart of the cluster’s actions.
