The National School of Decorative Arts, member of the PSL University (Paris Sciences and Letters) is a public higher education institution administered by the Ministry for Culture. The mission is to train high-level, artistic, scientific and technical artists and designers, also research workers.
Its research laboratory, EnsadLab, is organised around three topics:
- New materials
- Interactions (man-machine, machine to machine)
- Environmental issues
ENSAD also organises studies, especially as regards the concerns of the RECIT and STeW clubs.
